Hatha Yoga.

The word yoga originates from the Sanskrit root “yuj”, which means “to unite” or “to join.” Hatha is composed of the Sanskrit terms “ha” (sun) and “tha” (moon).
In Hatha Yoga, the aim is to unite active, warming energy with nurturing, cooling energy.
This is achieved by combining strengthening physical postures with conscious breathing.
The postures are practiced individually, and each pose is performed with mindfulness and awareness.
A classical Hatha Yoga class includes meditation, breathing exercises (pranayama), physical postures (asanas), and a final relaxation (shavasana).

Vinyasa Flow.

The word vinyasa is composed of the Sanskrit terms “vi” (in a specific way) and “nyasa” (to place or arrange). Vinyasa Yoga therefore describes a yoga practice that links different postures through a dynamic flow.

The exact sequencing is shaped by each individual teacher, which means no two classes are the same. The practice is creative, fluid, and free in its structure. As in all yoga styles, the connection between breath and movement is central to Vinyasa Yoga.

Pranayama & Restorative Yoga.

Pranayama — the conscious regulation of the breath — is a central part of the eightfold path of yoga. Through specific breathing techniques, we bring our life force (prana) into flow, calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and cultivate vitality and inner balance.

This breath practice is complemented by restorative asanas — gentle, longer-held postures supported by props such as bolsters or blankets. These poses help the body to deeply relax and release tension.

The combination of Pranayama and Restorative Yoga creates a space for regeneration, stillness, and mindful presence — an invitation to arrive fully within yourself and to replenish your energy.
